November is a notable month for architecture, with two major events bringing together architects from all over the globe. The first is the World Architectural Festival (WAF) on November 4 to 6 at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. WAF is the biggest architectural event in the world, with over 2,000 architects attending from 60 countries. The highlight is the live presentation and judging of 350 future and completed buildings across several categories, from churches to schools, and commercial centers to hotels. This year, RCHITECTS Inc. entered its design of the FEU Information Technology Building under the Higher Education and Research – Completed Building category.

On November 12, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CBTUH) will hold the Best Tall Buildings Awards at the Illinois Institute of Technology Campus in Chicago, USA. The CBTUH aims to recognize projects and individuals that push the advancement of tall buildings not only in terms of design, but also sustainability. RCHITECTS Inc. also entered the FEU Information Technology Building for consideration, as well as the Twin Oaks Place Tower 1.
